Hi! My name is Sara Orfali and I’m a Medieval Historian. I have a PhD in History with a thesis on the Pazzi Conspiracy.
These days I work in a museum, so guiding people through the paths of history is both my passion and what I do for a living.
I discovered I liked telling stories rather than writing them early, when I realised that I could research the places we were going to see on holidays, and share with friends and family the anecdotes and the funny details I had managed to find.
Little by little I gained more knowledge and expanded my horizons and I started to think that I wanted to share everything I had discovered with as many people as possible.
And this is how The Apple and The Hero was born: a podcast, so I can reach people living in all corners of the world and delight them with everything the history books don’t tell you in school!
